My grandmother gave me these shoes when I was a child...she told me they were her own grandmother's wedding shoes and stockings so I guess they date back to 1870's or so. I have always wanted to photograph them for posterity and finally got my chance today while doing work experience in Kinane Studios. I love these shoes and feel honoured to have something so old and of sentimental value in our family..
